New Member in my family – Acer Aspiron 9300-5317

Just got this baby today and feel like this is what I was looking for. You can see the config below.

I love everything about this machine except for that it has only 1 GB RAM (I need more as I am Photoshop freak) also I didnt like the Nvdia GeForce Go 6100. You can read the review on CompUSA site

I tested this camera for a client. I didn’t have the light running for more than 15 minutes. The battery lasted approximately 6 hours before recharging. The

LCD, however, had a few dead pixels – never saw this before. Tried returning for exchange and had to put up quite a fight. Anyone else seen this?

Hello, I am having a few issues with my Acer’s 2 are Aspire 9300-5317 and they both have dead dvd burners I mean maybe I can see 1 of them maybe going bad but both of them at about the same time.

And my other is an Acer Aspire 5000 and its DVD/CD-R/RW Combo drive is starting to go a bit hinky as it will work from time and others it wont read anything any Ideas I have tried to contact Acer and all I get is a runarround I love my Laptops but this really bothers me. Any Ideas or help would be appreciated. Please E-mail me in responce as well as posting here. Thank you. Gerard H.

when saving documents, use a USB Pen Drive. This device uses static Flash memory as opposed to a spinning Hard Drive.This is a great way to save battery life!
