I guess most of you must have seen the promos and even heard or read the news on internet about this new movie "Bhool Bhulaiya" been in limelight because of picturisation of eight semi-naked women dancing to a song which names Hindu gods Ram and Krishna wearing clothes with Hindu God names written on it.

I am not against the idea of making movies on any religion or portraying Hindu culture or God in a movie song in a mannered way, but there is some kind of limit to everything. The maker of this Indian movie and the song have not only hurt the sentiments of the Hindus worldwide but also given a chance or rather an angle to the rest of the world to point fingers on long cherished Indian culture or tradition.

I know most of the people reading this article will not care about it, but as an Indian I would like to point out that we should not make such movies or songs which would give chance to the world to bad mouth or point finger at our Religion or culture. As we all know that now a days people see the world (here India) through the eyes of Cinema or the media, we should always refrain from making any thing which will set wrong image of India or Indian culture in the minds of people.

When ever I talk to western people here about India, all they can come up with is "Snake Charmer" or "people with turban (Sikhs)" or "elephant rides" and of course the Bollywood. Is this all we want the world to know about India…?

Wake up Indian Cinema industry. If we continue to play with the emotions or the sentiments of our own Religion and culture in the public, then what is the use of teaching or preaching Indian values to the whole world when you can't implement or abide by yourself.

Again it is sad to know that now a days our own Indian people particularly politicians don't think twice what they say and don't even imagine what impact it would make on the rest of the world. Yes, I am talking about the famous "Ram Setu" controversy where Tamilnadu state Chief Minister Mr. Karunanidhi questioned existence of Lord Ram. His passionate and very irresponsible comments again were talk of the town. Did someone ask him existence of his own clan? To him it must have been another political stunt but in large it hurt sentiments of millions of Hindus worldwide who believe that God exists.

Has Hindu religion become a child's play that any person can do whatever they want to do with it or no one cares about the sentiments of the Hindus? Can you do the same with other religion too and would they tolerate it?

Well I know that my writing all this here wont make a big difference in the thought of movie makers or the media, but still as a free man on this planet I have right to express my thoughts specially when it is to be put on my blog.

God bless Indian Cinema !

PS:While I was writing this article, I came across this article that there are some people who are actually who care about it and are protesting this song, don't know if they also have some political motive behind this but whatever done good in the sake of Religion is always appreciating.

MUMBAI: A non-governmental organisation on Tuesday filed a civil suit seeking a stay on the release of the film 'Bhool Bhulaiyaa' alleging that the promotional cut of the film is defamatory and hurts the religious sentiments of Buddhists and Hindus.

The NGO, Eccha Foundation, has named Sharmila Tagore, the chairperson of the Censor Board of Film Certification (CBFC) as a respondent to the suit for failing to notice the allegedly defamatory sequence in the film. Producers Bhushan and Krishan Kumar, director Priyadarshan, actor Akshay Kumar and choreographer of the song ‘Hare Krishna, Hare Ram’ have also been named as respondents.

The NGO said that it had taken offence at the picturisation of the song in which "semi-naked women danced in a vulgar fashion before an idol of Gautam Buddha."

"The picturisation of the song includes eight semi-naked women dancing to a song which names Hindu gods Ram and Krishna. One of the women is shown obscenely standing on the lap of an idol as if to offer prayers which we found to be insulting to Buddha, Ram and Krishna," said Anand Kamble, the NGO’s chairperson.

"We have pleaded that the CBFC be directed to cancel the certification of the film and re-issue an appropriate one after deleting the song," said advocate Sushan Kunjuraman. The movie is set for release on October 12. The suit also asked the court for restriction of release, distribution and exhibition of the film and withdrawal of the current promotional cut from television channels and the internet. The matter will be heard in court on October 6.

It is really a amazing movie to watch…but i know this movie will not reach high heights as it is not having a multi star cast or hype like other movies. The star in the movie did the best of their roles specially Mr. Ahuja. I am impressed by his acting when he is beaten to death by a Police man & Saurabh Shukla.

’At the stroke of midnight, when the whole world has slept, we wake up into prosperity and freedom.’ Nehru has made a mistake in his sentence, because at midnight in India, people in New York are wide awake.

This film emphasizes on the mindset of young people who want independent India to be a better place than it really is.

In the 70’s, Revolution is what resulted from the rage of the fresh young blood. The social workers who sacrificed their life for the betterment of their country were brutally termed as: Naxalites. And their thousands of dreams and aspirations have gone unnoticed by the brutal force of the country’s ugly politics. Hazaaron Khwaishein Aisi.

HAZAARON KHWAISHEIN AISI

Sidharth, the product of a Muslim father and a Hindu Bengoli mother, repents that he can neither talk well in Urdu nor speak good Bengoli. He feels the system needs to be changed. He feels that young people should not blindly follow the easy path laid down by their well-settled parents. Life is not just about studying well, earning well and loving one’s parents. Life is much more; like, trying to make a difference. He aggressively moves along the path of revolution. On the way, he gathers as many supporters as he could. And along the journey, the police are behind him. Most of the supporters either drop by themselves in between or are dropped by the police’s bullet piercing through their chests. Sidharth shares his feelings and perceptions to his beloved, Geeta.

Geeta is educated in London. Almost every man felt possessive of her; she was that good. But like a bubble in clear waters, she madly loved Sidharth. When he wanted her to support his idea of living in villages, her consciousness makes her marry off a well-settled man. But when she is reminded of Sidharth, she cannot stop herself from meeting him. She leaves everything and lives with him in Bhojpur, a village where the vulgarity of oppression is at its best.

Vikram is the fun-loving guy who wanted to be out of his middle-class family limitations. Revolution is not his cup of tea. But he supported Sidharth because his beloved loves Sidharth. Vikram is ready to do anything that pleases his beloved. Though unaccepted, he knows that she respects his love for her. He knows that she wanted him to be with her in any situation. And in the course, when he tried to save his beloved’s lover (Sidharth), he is beaten to an extent where he loses his memory. The only thing that he remembers (or that he could not forget) in his mindless state is his love for his beloved and that her name is: Geeta.

This film shows Sidharth running along the thorny path of revolution. Geeta follows him. Vikram helps Geeta whenever she stumbles. But does Sidharth reach his destiny? If not, when will he?

MY REVIEW

The film leaves the audience with lots of insight and the concerned questions about the existing society or the society that has drowsily existed for the last fifty years of independence. It takes the audience through the silly and ugly shape of Indian politics, designed by the self-serving leaders and celebrities. Now let me tell why I would recommend this film to you.

Kay Kay Menon The Adventures of Pluto Nash release

as Sidharth was as usual brilliant in his histrionics. The intensity in his eyes was great. His voice was softer than necessary, but that could hardly spoil his performance.

Chitrangada Singh reminded me of Smita Patel and Nandita Das. She gave a very good performance and she was alluringly apt for her role of Geeta: a woman on whom almost every man feels possessive.

After watching his pathetic performance in ’Sins’, I hardly expected anything from Shiney Ahuja in this film. But he turned out to be the best part of the film. He was charming and sincere as a lover-boy; he was awesome as a responsible man; he was acceptably pitiable as a man who loses everything for his beloved.

The technical aspects of the film are good; esp. the cinematography was brilliant. The dialogues (90% is in English) are captivating. The screenplay was terrific.
’Chemeli’ left me with a not-so-good opinion about Sudhir Mishra
Even Cowgirls Get the Blues movie The Elephant Man download

Kangaroo Jack trailer

. But Hazaaron Khwaishein Aisi is one of the best films in Indian cinema. Hats off, to Sudhir for his sincere effort.

The only negative point of this film is its story structure which is very much bookish (like a novel). Film dynamics are absent, which makes it difficult for normal audience to pay interest to the story.

Third film in the highly successful “Spider-Man” series sees several new villains and a new woman enter Peter Parker’s life. With his secret now revealed to both Mary Jane and Harry, Peter must face the consequences of his actions and his new life together with Mary Jane as they finally form a relationship. Yet their newfound open display of love has yielded some unfortunate results, not the least of which is Peter’s upset boss determined to make his life hell for causing his son emotional distress. Not helping is a young investigative reporter named Eddie Brock who Jameson has hired to find out why Mary Jane dumped his son for Peter – what’s Parker’s secrets? At the same time an escaped prisoner hiding out on a remote beach is caught in a dreadful accident and finds himself turned into a shape-shifting sand creature. Peter’s investigations into the past of this ‘Sandman’ brings him in contact with two very different things that will inevitably alter his life. The first a young woman named Gwen Stacy, daughter of the city’s new police chief who is developing a soft spot for Peter. The other, a black substance from an accident scene which ‘merges’ with Peter’s costume and gives him new found abilities. Things come to a head however when Harry Osborn, determined to take revenge against Peter for his father’s death and now equipped with what he needs to pull it off, teams with The Sandman in a new variation of his father’s Green Goblin guise and causes mayhem. In the ensuing chaos lives are lost, including people very close to Peter, whilst the black substance covering his suit separates from him and merges with a distraught Brock to form something else entirely – a creature unlike anything he’s ever faced. A ‘Venom’ that he may not be able to stop.
